Using my Mom's childhood Raggedy Ann and Andy storybooks, she recreated wonderful scenes from the antique book and also incorporated elements from the crib set. "Denise Bulman helped me to faux paint our downstairs bathroom and then she did a thin line of purple with ivy as an accent. We used a napkin for our idea and it turned out absolutely beautiful! I get so many compliments on that room. We painted a zebra eating grass in my younger son's room. My ideas for the grass were pretty lame compared to what Denise came up with! My older son wanted a black room. I found a black comforter with some white and gray in it. Denise designed the walls to go with the comforter. My son loved it! We toned down the black paint, put some stripes on one wall, framed his artwork on another wall, and did another wall in a dark gray. My son and his friend painted white swirls using Q-tips and it matched the design on the comforter. His walls are not completely black, which made me happy....and Denise knew just what to do to make him feel happy with it. It was fun to work with Denise and she taught me many techniques.
